HORRIFIC. If I could give less stars I would. My daughter, a college student at VSU with extensive Urological problems, had an appointment to start a relationship with a Valdosta doctor. We were given this name by Augusta Medical University. Her experience was terrible and when I called to try to get more information my experience on the phone was terrible as well. The rudest people I've ever met. And this includes the doctor calling me and leaving a lengthy voicemail explaining how wrong my daughter was and suggesting I counsel my daughter.
I have never been to a doctor and walk out so upset. After sitting 5 hours in his clinic and many procedures later. Dr.Sosnowski came to tell me that I was obese. I weight 140 pounds. He told me that I needed to loose 20-25 pounds and my issues would go away. Not to mention he was eating his lunch while performing medical procedures on me. Here I am 6 months later still trying to figure out what's going on. I would not recommend this horrible doc to anyone!
This is NOT how a doctor or their office should behave. My daughter is 20 years old, very responsible and very aware of her medical history. He wouldn't appropriately answer her questions and continued to question why she was there. Then proceeded to tell her she had an infection and needed a CT scan. There was no sympathy at how scary this would be for someone who just spent nearly a month in the hospital battling septic shock.
I wish there was a way to give negative stars.
Never seen the doctor yet. His front desk staff extremely rude. My primary care physician sent over a referral and I was told I won't be seen till after he reads my referral. I have a 9.5 kidney stone that needs to be removed via surgery. I can't live on pain pills and hate taking them. I was in the ER last week. How long does it take for this doctor to read a referral. I was told tell he reads it I can't make an appointment others I have spoken to find this insane. Someone please help me with this. Fr. chainge the other urgolgist we have his assistant told my husband I was having acute appedexitis. I have no insurance due to be out of work and searching for a job every day. This is an emergency situation here from what my primary care physician told me. Any suggestions for what I should do. I was already accused by an EMT as being a pill seeker when I called 9-11 I am an EMT myself I hate taking pills.
Yes there was a little wait before I was seen. Couldn't have asked for a better experience other than that. Excellent staff. If you are looking for coddling you might be disappointed, but if you are looking for a honest, thorough doctor he is your man.
