When I called the office to ask him a question, he refused to answer. I was told I would have to make an entirely extra appointment to ask any questions (more money for them of course.) I do not trust any doctor who is too uncaring to take the time to talk to his own patients but only cares about the money instead.
When I started complaining to my neighbors and friends about him, I soon realized I was amongst many others who felt the same about him as I did, that they received very poor care and little to no help for their neurological problems.
I spent almost an hour for each appointment waiting for him and he would literally spend at most 5 minutes talking to me while I was under a lot of suffering. They double book their patients so that just goes to show they are really after the money not quality. Dr. Patel even insensitively joked that I should go on to have more kids and promised that all my neurological problems would go away after pregnancy. I knew the second those words came out of his mouth that he was wrong. He never once really took any time to listen.
For the record, I am still permanently neurologically damaged from that pregnancy because Dr. Patel failed to take appropriate action or even acknowledge that he was ultimately the "expert" for my type of problem. I wouldn't trust my dog to him.
I have been seeing Dr. Bipin Patel since 2009. He is a wonderful neurologist and has helped me tremendously throughout the years. I wouldn't think of using any one else.
I would not recommend this so-called "neurologist" to anyone. I started having neurological problems while I was pregnant, and (I had actually read ahead of time that there were Drs. like this out there who actually existed but never thought I would encounter one) he insisted that it was my "hormones" causing my problems not anything nerve related. When I told my OB Dr. (somewhat of a "hormone expert," right?) this, my OB Dr. said they were glad I didn't believe him because they've had plenty of other patients who actually did believe their neuro problems were hormonal when in fact they were not. My OB Dr. actually took the time to run diagnostic tests to find an answer to my problems, while Dr. Patel just racked up money for "follow up" visits and watched me suffer while doing nothing but, "Hey how are you doing? See you next time."
This guy a scam artist. He will get shut down soon.
