Smoked my transmission on my way home from vacation in Florida on I75. Found Martins through Google maps and the nice people at the visitors center in Park City, GA. They got me towed to the shop, the owner himself took us to the hotel of our choice in Valdosta, picked us up the next day and had me back on the road with a rebuilt tranny all in under 24 hours. The other shops I called were all supposedly busy and couldn't get me in for 2 to 3 days, and I had to be back to work. The people at Martins were so nice and professional,, and were so sympathetic to my problem,,, they took care of me like I was family and not some "out of towner". The best thing,,, they didn't gouge me on the price of the repairs! I know cars,,, I know what things cost to get them fixed,,,, these great people are probably one of the few that are still around that are 100% honest people. While Driving to Orlando the low coolant light came on. We had my truck towed to Martins salvage and Transmission. They were able to accommodate my truck and trailer. After a quick review they were able to replace the coolant hose and get me on the road right away. Thank you for the fast service.
