The absolute worst, rudest, uncaring nurses in the world. I'd have my baby at a Walmart before ever going back there. GO TO SGMC, SMITH NORTHVIEW pediatric nurses will make you wait 4 hours to change blood soaked sheets, misdiagnose your baby and make you leave there crying.
Wonderful staff. Wayne is awesome. Quick service. This is a great Urgent Care. Thanks so much :)
Granted that this was two years ago when my son was born, but I'm still having problems with this. I went 60 hours from the time my water broke until they finally did an emergency c-section. I was there a full week before I could go home because it went two days after he was born for them to give me a blood transfusion. Any of the reasons mentioned could be why I received an infection that wasn't drained out until another 3.5 weeks later. Because of this, I couldn't even breastfeed my son. I went to the er and was treated wonderfully.
This urgent care facility is great if you want nice people in a nice facility. But if you're looking for competency, look elsewhere. The MD listened to me for less than one second before making a (incorrect) diagnosis and then gave an incorrect treatment for the diagnosis he gave. This could have been avoided if he bothered to listen to the patient history. His treatment was so terrible that I to go to the ER five hours later where they gave me what I and my RN mother knew I needed all along.
I don't appreciate their rude nurses that judge you for being concerned. Hoping she isn't my nurse for delivery....
Went into the hospital after Dr. hours, to get checked out. The night before I had extremely sharp pains in the middle of my stomach and toward my back. It was not a contraction, just sharp pain. I could not sit up or roll out of bed because of the pain, and had to wake my husband up.
I know my family has a history of concerning issues, and I have heard many stories about similar things.. so I thought it would be best to get checked out.
The nurse did her best to make me feel stupid for coming in. I described my pain, exactly as I did above. She told me "You aren't in labor. Your slight pain may have been contractions." .. I don't believe I ever said it was "slight pain".
