I just have a difficult time finding the things I need when I go here. Some things they don’t carry that I’ve been able to find in other locations and if they do carry it it’s weirdly located so I end up walking around the store a million times before I find what I need. There are no self check outs. Compared to other publix that had hot soups and bread bowls and pre made meals in the deli this one is just kind of disappointing.
I love this location in Valdosta... The staff here are very friendly, helpful & quick. The store is neat & bathrooms are clean. A manager is always around to help also... Unlike the other Publix their Deli & Bakery Department employees smile & offer so much assistance, making me feel greatly valued as a customer. Thanks for being my 1st choice
I try to avoid this Publix whenever possible because the location on Gornto is much better. The staff here, particularly in the deli, are pretty unprofessional and unfriendly compared to the other store. While I don't really like the layout of this store, my main complaint is with the deli. Don't bother ordering online because they will mess up your order about 3/5 of the time. And sometimes, they even manage to get it wrong when you're standing right in front of them. I've been given the wrong turkey or the wrong cheese on a few separate occasions while ordering in person, but I've also been given the wrong bread, toppings, etc when ordering online. My complaint with the deli staff is that most of them aren't very attentive or courteous; I've even had an employee shout to friends or coworkers several times from the behind the counter while making my sub. It was really rude. Definitely go to the Gornto store if you want a better experience all around.
They always have what I'm looking for if you can't find it someone is there to help you..I love my publix store.
You notice the difference the moment you take charge of your carriage... It rolls smoothly and effortlessly down the aisles. The store is well lit well stocked, and has THE most friendly staff. Prices are a bit higher than a Wal Mart, but you really don't mind. It makes shopping easy.
