**** UPDATE*** JUST TO LET U KNOW, MY FAMILY MEMBER NOW HAS BRAIN DAMAGE!!, YOU R A DISGRACE TO TREATMENT CENTERS!!!! PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVE ONE HERE!!!! I took a family member into this so called treatment center! If you want your love one to live and come out normal....PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T TAKE THEM THERE. My family member is still in a hospital due to what they done to them. Almost one week later she can't talk normal, she can't remember 5 mins ago. She is on a child like mine. Who do I blame... the nurses, the doctor. If you are burned out and can't do your job... move on to something that you can't hurt or kill!!!! I am a firm believer in treatment center's BUT Greenleaf I DO NOT!!!! Greenleaf you are a disgrace to treatment center's. My heart is crying out to you to please listen to your patient's!!! You have messed up a beautiful person that no longer cares!!! I took that beautiful person there to help with meds and now she is so traumatized you can't see the sparkle in her eye's.

As a former patient, I found this place abysmal, and apparently it's the best around. PRISONERS get more outside time than patients here, the living quarters are depressing, there are hardly any activities available to patients, and the "group counseling" sessions are a joke. Sometimes we would just watch a video or have unstructured group where we were literally given no direction. All of the food is fried or greasy- barely any choices of fresh fruit or vegetables. A lot of the staff is unprofessional and the place is very poorly run overall. The patients could run the place better.

Overheard staff talking about patients to another staff member (casually referring to us patients as "they" and laughing about patients as I was walking out of a group meeting). I addressed the staff and she dismissed the fact I overheard her her demeaning behavior. This was a LONG time ago before Google reviews....damn. I was there 1999 April, May.

I was a patient. As a patient, you grow attached to the people around you. The hardest thing about leaving is that you'll never see the other patients you've spent so long with again.

Patient ID to visit someone who has clearly made it apparent they were expecting visitors. An hour of visitation is a joke. This isn't prison. No cellphones to share photos.
