I love this Plato's. I have been to locations in Florida and Alabama, but I prefer the Valdosta location's layout and selection of ladies and men's clothing and shoes. Always find great deals on good brands of clothing. The store itself is tidy and well run. The only drawback is their refusal of trendy name brand clothing for resale, yet my husband and I both constantly find inferior clothing brands like Faded Glory (Wal-Mart brand), Cherokee, No Boundaries (Target Brands), etc., as well as clothes with holes or stains. Their methods for picking and choosing what clothes to buy/sell are odd. But I am otherwise always happy shopping here.
Customer services is horrible, everytime I bring something up there they don't take. I bring the shoes I have never worn and they say they can't take them with the condition. Plato closet have to do better and have to keep in consideration.
Great selection and good prices! :) they have lots of modern 'in style now' clothes, but also some stuff that I bought that would look great for an 80's themed party I'm going to! :)
I've bought items from here for a good price. I went here to sell some clothes from American eagle and other stores all the clothes was in very good condition. They didn't take any. Don't know why if what I was willing to sell was better than what they were selling at the time. their choices of what to buy is odd. They should remember they are buying items for the customers to purchase not themselves.
They always say the smallest things are wrong with your clothes. If you go in there with literally two things that you know will sell, they'll still make you wait an insane amount of time just to look at two shirts, then after all that, they give you some chump change or won't take it at all. Time can be easily wasted here. They're clerks don't know fashion tbh. How you do you have a pair of heelys and a fubu jersey in stock but won't take this polo or tommy Hilfiger shirt because its a little worn. They'll really drive you up the wall at this place.
